Turkey ‘s one of the biggest meeting of archeology in the “International Symposium on Culture and Environment Propontis” Gallipoli “is being held in Biga’s. Nearly 200 archaeological scientists participated in the symposium and the archaeological sites in the wide area covering the Marmara Sea and its surroundings are discussed. Within the scope of the 2018 Year of Troy activities, the lığı International Propontis and Environmental Cultures Symposium Y was held in the Biga district of Çanakkale by the Excavations of Parion Antique City Excavation, Çanakkale Governorship and İÇDAŞ Â.Ş. Mayor of Biga İsmail Işık, Çanakkale Wars Gallipoli Historic Area President İsmail Kaşdemir, Biga Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Soytürk, Culture and Tourism Director Kemal Dokuz and local and foreign academicians attended the symposium. In the symposium, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Romania, Austria, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, England, with the TRNC and 60 wild with scientists from countries like the Netherlands, Turkey “s will offer various universities of the 145 local scientists report the people. During the symposium there will be 143 oral presentations and 17 poster presentations and 160 presentations.
